What Kumar did
- Led CryoGen as CTO, from architecture and safety design to production.
- Inventor on Indian patent application 202511100081, covering the helical vents and evaporator control.
What it is
CryoGen is Bonphul's whole-body cryotherapy chamber for wellness centres and sports-recovery facilities.
How it works
The user steps into the cabin with the head above and outside it, breathing room air and free to leave at any time. Nitrogen-cooled dry vapour fills the cabin and drops the temperature within seconds. A session lasts two to three minutes.
Engineering
The patent application describes a double acrylic wall with an evacuated gap, an evaporation chamber where controlled heaters set the gas temperature, six helical vents with motorised louvers that spread the cold evenly, oxygen sensors, and magnetic latches that release if power fails.
